Breezy’s One Hell Of A Nite tour dates have been postponed until further notice, after the singer was denied entry into the country based on his past domestic violence convictions, but a series of what appear to be automated Facebook posts have appeared on his Facey this week, spruiking the impending tour dates as if they’re still going ahead.
Basically, somebody has fucked up, and fans’ reactions on social media have been… potent. There’s been anger, confusion, mockery and outright despair, alongside numerous calls for fellow fans to rock up to the venues on the scheduled dates anyway, just to show their support for Breezy.
A post about his Perth show, which appeared on Wednesday 9th December, has since been deleted. But a new post about his canned Melbourne show (which was set for Saturday night) materialised yesterday before also being deleted.
“Kick me while I’m down!!! :'( :'( :'(,” one fan exclaimed in the comments section. While another asked, “Is he coming or not this is really confusing.”
For anyone else who might be confused: No, Chris Brown is not coming, at least not until he can get approved for an Australian visa.
Another fan commented, “Lolz you need a better social media manager,” which probably sums the situation up best. Check out some screenshots of the delete Melbourne post and its comments, below.
