Christine and the Queens has blessed us with a stunning new single, today sharing ‘People, I’ve Been Sad’.
She premiered the song via COLORXSTUDIOS. It sees her take the purple stage in a fabulous, shiny blazer.
The new single, ‘People, I’ve Been Sad’, opens with the line, “It’s true that people have been sad.” The song combines French and English lyrics throughout and her vocal delivery is soaring in parts, but sombre in others. It’s all backed by this deep, synthy bass line.
It’s the perfect, kind of sad bop.

Christine and the Queens has had a mammoth 18 months. Playing festivals like Coachella and Primavera, and her very first Australian tour. She also got to join forces with absolute queen, Charli XCX on her song, ‘Gone’.
