Brooklyn-based producer Jeremy Malvin, who makes music under the monikerChrome Sparks, is brining his expansive and masterful sonic landscapes to Australia for the first time ever, announcing two sideshows to accompany his spot on the Splendour In The Grass 2014 lineup.
Aided by his background in classical percussion and spurred by an obsession with synthesizers, Malvin gained a huge fan base for his 2012 soulfully silky banger Marijuana. Not content with working in isolation, Malvin took his work on the road, crafting tunes on his laptop then bringing them to life on stage, projected through a three piece band.
Chrome Spark’s latest EP, Goddess, was released earlier this year via Future Classic. Now ontop of what is sure to be a surreal and hypnotic Splendour set, audiences in Melbourne and Sydney will get a chance to see the magic live onstage for two intimate sideshows. Tickets are on sale now.
