Celebrating the release of their latest LP, Psychic Warfare, US rock lords Clutch have just announced they will be returning to Australia in 2016 for their biggest tour here yet.
Well known for the no nonsense blues heavy take on rock n roll, Clutch have been putting on high octane live shows ever since the band formed back in high school. Eleven studio albums and countless beer soaked live shows later and the band are still going strong, with Psychic Warfare showcasing their relentless vigour and love of rock and roll.
Produced by acclaimed producer Machine (Lamb Of God), Psychic Warfare once again sees the band take up the kind of concise arrangements that made their previous album Earth Rocker so powerful. First single X-Ray Visions showcases this streamlined sound, proving that after all these years, Clutch are still rearing in high gear.
Joining Clutch for the tour are leading exponents and seminal pioneers of bogan rock, Cosmic Psychos. Their 30 year touring history preceding them, it’s hard to think of of a better match to tour with Clutch, the Psychos being sure to keep pace with them on stage and in the bar after.
