Watch Courtney Barnett’s Super-Cute Interview With A Young Music Journo

Beloved Melbourne singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett has felt the wrath of a young music journalist after sitting down for an in-depth and pretty darn cute dressing room interview.

Piper from the legends over at Kids Interview Bands had the chance to chat with Barnett before a performance in Columbus, Ohio recently, and got a stack of juicy exclusives out of the muso, including her favourite AC/DC song, how often people ask her to “make [some] origami [honey]”, and which Aussie band’s songs she’d happily perform covers of for the rest of her life.

The chat (below) even sees CB offer to start a heavy metal band with old mate Pipes, complete with a “punny” name which they haven’t really thought of yet… but we’re sure it’d be killer.

This isn’t the first time Kids Interview Bands have torn an Aussie muso apart — they famously gave Vance Joy a good journalistic hiding back in 2014.

Courtney Barnett is heading to Europe soon for a string of tour dates, before returning to Australia in July for Splendour In The Grass. Watch her full appearance on Kids Interview Bands, below.
