Daniel Merriweather – Phrase & Diafrix Confirmed As Tour Support

Excitement is already building for Daniel Merriweather’s forthcoming tour, and now two of Australia’s finest hip hop acts – Phrase and Diafrix – will be joining the tour.

Melbourne born Phrase joins the tour with his sophomore record Clockwork (available now through Universal Music) firmly in hand. Already spawning triple j favourites ‘Skylight’ and ‘Clockwork’, the album reached the lofty heights #26 on the ARIA chart, cementing Phrase’s place as one of Australia’s brightest talents. Phrase supporting Daniel Merriweather should come as no surprise to fans following at home – Daniel produced Phrase’s career-establishing debut album Talk with Force.

Warming the stage in each city with be Melbourne-via-South Africa lads Diafrix. Fresh from the release of their debut album Concrete Jungle (available now through Illusive) and a national tour supporting Bliss N Eso, Diafrix will be ready to show their best this November/December. Diafrix’s iconic concoction of African rhythms, dance hall, funk, Australian hip hop and reggae has seen the band develop a unique sound and strong following, offering an excellent reason to ensure you arrive early.

After years of globetrotting, Daniel Merriweather’s return will offer an opportunity to learn what the rest of the world has already taken note of: Daniel Merriweather is a bona fide superstar. The addition of Phrase and Diafrix to all shows adds further reason to secure your tickets now.
