Brooklyn electronic duo Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington, better known as the EDM aberration that is Darkside, have announced that they will be embarking on a short Australian tour in April to celebrate the release of their highly-acclaimed debut album, Psychic, to be joined by Movement.
The duo’s debut, released back in October, has been garnering extreme praise from major outlets for its sophisticated, eclectic and forward-thinking electronica style. With such props, it’s no wonder the pair’s subsequent dates in London, Berlin and Brussels completely sold out.
“For the record, we have had some of our best shows and some amazing times playing in Australia,” multi-instrumentalist Harrington told inthemix earlier in the year. The pair previously played together at the beginning of this year, coinciding with Jaar’s solo Laneway Festival dates.
“In a very sincere way, it’s always been good vibes for us playing there,” added Harrington. Fans can feel the good vibes by joining Darkside on their Australian tour. Pre-sale tickets are out now for Modular subscribers, with general public tickets going on sale 9AM AEST Thursday, 21st November.
