Dave Grohl Has Set Up A New Instagram Page To Share “Some Of The More Ridiculous Moments” Of His Life

Everyone’s fave dad-rocker, Dave Grohl has set up a new Instagram page called @davestruestories to share short stories from his life with fans.

Currently the page only has the one post. The post introduces the page, “Hi, my name is Dave. Sometimes I play drums. Sometimes I play guitar. Sometimes I tell stories.”

“I’m currently looking for work,” he jokes, referring to the Foo Fighters’ tour cancellations. “So I thought I’d pass the time by writing true stories that will make people smile.”

“I’m also a total fucking spaz who can’t sit around doing nothing,” he clarifies… same Dave, same.

Dave Grohl excuses his upcoming posts saying, “My mother was a brilliant English teacher, a father a wicked speechwriter, so I decided to rebel by not paying attention to grammar and/or punctuation in school. (That, and cranking death metal 24/7 from my bedroom stereo) so have mercy. Not going for a Nobel Prize in literature here.”

He then signs off the post by telling fans to “Wash your fucking hands.”

The hashtags on the post are something to be admired as well. Catch the post in full down below.

Dave Grohl recently confirmed that Foo Fighters’ 10th studio album is complete, and also, that ghosts almost ruined it — spooky.

He also told Kerrang that, “I’m fucking excited for people to hear it and I can’t wait to jump on that fucking stage to play it.”

“There are choruses on this record that 50-fucking-thousand people are gonna sing, and it’s gonna bring everyone’s fucking hearts together in that moment. And that’s what it’s all about.”
