Download: Two Free Batrider Tracks

Having what may be one of the most awesome names to come out of the antipodean music scene in recent years, Batrider sound like the name implies they would – badass. Grungy, dirty, distorted rock at its antipodean best, the band have recently returned to Australia after some extensive touring overseas settling in Adelaide and releasing their latest album Piles Of Lies as well as a video for the album’s title track that you can watch here, the band currently touring nationally in support of the release, playing Sydney’s GoodGod Small Club this Saturday Aug 20th with Per Purpose and Mere Women.

To commemorate these musical milestones, the band have decided to make said title track available for free over at the Remote Control blog. They’ve also got another song up for free on their site that as far as I can tell is titled Chris Drab.

If you like your music rough around the edges and slightly worn in with honesty and feeling, these two tracks will surely whet your appetite for Batrider’s music.

Be sure and catch the band on the rest of their tour dates, especially the double album launch with Native Cats at The Tote on the 30th of Sept. Anyway all the dates are here below and for more info visit the band’s website.
