Dune Rats have announced extra shows in Melbourne and Sydney as part of their upcoming jaunt around the nation in a few weeks time on their Smile tour.
Having sold out their first dates in each city in record time, the band will now play another night at The Grace Darling in Melbourne on 5th April, and Brighton Up Bar in Sydney on 12th April.
These are homecoming shows off the back of the band’s recent visit to SXSW in the States, where it appears they had one hell of a fun-lovin’ time. Local punters provided them with plenty lolz too, after the band revealed on Facebook that someone told them to “fuck a dingo” at the festival.
The tour is being billed as the first chance for fans to hear material from their forthcoming Smile EP, supposedly the most mature release the band have created yet, and the EP itself will be a preview of the band’s debut album, which is expected later in 2013.
