Fairgrounds Festival Drops Huge Lineup Clues, Announces 2018 Dates

New South Wales’ Fairgrounds Festival has dropped some HUGE lineup clues, while also announcing the dates for its family-friendly 2018 shindig.

Returning to the town of Berry for its fourth annual event on Friday, 30th November and Saturday, 1st December, Fairgrounds appears to have already hinted at one act who could headline this year’s festivities.

In a statement about this year’s festival, organisers dropped a bunch of references to beloved Australian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett.

“Tell Me How You Really Feel. Walkin’ On Eggshells? Sounds like you Need A Little Time. A chance to retreat, reset and Help Your Self to a weekend of music and wonder,” they said.

“Nobody Really Cares If You Don’t Go to the Party, but you’ll be kicking yourself if you don’t head to Fairgrounds Festival 2018!”

A promotional video released by organisers (below) also features the Courtney Barnett song ‘Charity’.

HINT MUCH?!

Last year’s Fairgrounds Festival lineup was topped by the likes of The Shins, Future Islands, Client Liaison, D.D Dumbo You Am I and Courtney Barnett’s partner Jen Cloher.

Fairgrounds Festival is expected to make its official first lineup announcement for 2018 in early July, so stay tuned to Music Feeds for the latest.
