Soul shakers Fat Freddy’s Drop’s Australian tour is proving to be a popular one with the band today announcing another show off the back of a few sold out ones.
The kiwi band have announced a third Melbourne show after the first two sold out, taking it to a total of nine Australian shows throughout February 2016. It is officially their biggest Australian headline tour to date.
They have spent the last month touring through Europe with their new album Bays in hand so will be well practiced by the time they touch down in Australia next year.
Chooper Reedz from the band recently spoke to Music Feeds about the spontaneity of the shows, saying that it’s all about the “unknown” and making it up as they go along.
“That’s part of the excitement and where the energy comes from the audience. If they’re really up for that and really behind that, then it’s a really gratifying, energizing two-way street,” he said.
Hiatus Kaiyote will support them in both Perth and Sydney while Thomas Oliver will support nationally.
