The lineup for Field Day 2017 has expanded, with local Sydney producer Nyxen winning the triple j Unearthed spot on the bill, claiming a spot which was once filled by the likes of Flume, The Jezabels and Jess Kent.
Real name Chelsea Lester, Nyxen’s melodic style of instrumental electronica has caught the eye of Unearthed listeners recently, and she’s just released an EP called Running.
Fresh off a tour with KLP, Nyxen will join a stacked Field Day lineup containing internationals like ZHU and MØ, as well as Aussie legends like Alison Wonderland, SAFIA, Hermitude, Client Liaison, Tkay Maidza and What So Not. It’s also the only festival over New Years where you can catch both Childish Gambino and Chance The Rapper in the one place.
Field Day 2017 will take place on New Year’s Day in The Domain, Sydney. Check out the lineup in full, below.
