Flaming Lips Adds Bon Iver (And More) To Do Collaboration Album

After spending 2011 collaborating with lots of different artists, such as Neon Indian, Lightning Bolt, Prefuse 73, and the Plastic Ono Band. The Flaming Lips have announced a few more they have coming up for 2012.

Wayne Coyne has said that the Lips have an upcoming compilation featuring collaborations with Death Cab For Cutie, Neon Indian, Nick Cave, the Plastic Ono Band, and Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros, and now, in an interview with Rolling Stone, Coyne has now added Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon to that list. He also has a wish list of artists he’s hoping to get in on it, including Lykke Li, Erykah Badu, and even Ke$ha.

They aim to get it in for an April release in line for Record Store Day 2012.
