Foo Fighters, Bon Iver, Skrillex and Kanye West Win Pre-Telecast Grammy Awards

Kanye West, Skrillex, Bon Iver and Foo Fighters are amongst the winners of awards presented at the Pre-Telecast Grammy ceremony. A few of the major trophies were presented before the main ceremony, which kicks off from the Staples Center in Los Angeles in just a few hours.

West took three Grammys, winning Best Rap Album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which beat his collaboration Watch The Throne with Jay-Z. Best Rap Collaboration and Best Rap Song for single All of the Lights.

Folk act Bon Iver has won for Best Alternative Music Album with their self-titled album beating several major-label peers for the honour.

Foo Fighters have won a Grammy for the “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance” category, with their track White Limo, from the 2011 album Wasting Light.

Skrillex took three awards as well. The Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites album won Best Dance/Electronica Album, the title track also earned Best Dance Recording, while his remix to Benny Benassi’s Cinema won Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical.

Live performances will include Adele, who will be performing for the first time since undergoing vocal-cord surgery late last year. The Beach Boys, who will be reuniting for their first appearance in two decades, with Foster The People and Maroon 5. Coldplay and Rihanna. Dance/electronica segment featuring Chris Brown, Deadmau5, Foo Fighters, David Guetta, and Lil Wayne. Foo Fighters and Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band.
