Foo Fighters Play Surprise Gig At California Pizzeria

In this week’s second slice of pizza-related music news, patrons of California pizza parlour Rock & Roll Pizza enjoyed a little entertainment with their meal, as Foo Fighters took the intimate stage and served up a delicious 2 1/2 hour set.

Captured on video by one pizza-loving Foos fan, the band ripped through a 23-song setlist filled with fan favourites like Learn to Fly, White Limo, and Arlandria, though no new songs. It served as a taste of their upcoming dates in Mexico City with The National.

Dave Grohl recently told Rolling Stone a new Foo Fighters album is expected next year. “We’re doing something that nobody knows about, it’s fucking rad,” said Grohl. “We begin recording soon, but we’re doing it in a way that no one’s done before and we’re writing the album in a way that I don’t think has been done before.”
