Foo Fighters Unveil Mexico City Concert Promo

Known for injecting their music videos with their characteristic sense of humour, Foo Fighters have unveiled a hilarious promo clip for their upcoming return to live touring, in Mexico City. The poorly-dubbed clip even features a cameo from CHiPs star Erik Estrada.

Earlier this week, frontman Dave Grohl addressed Mexico in a 10-second video posted to the official Foo Fighters YouTube page, saying the band “is coming.” Foo Fighters will return from hiatus on 13th December with a show at Mexico City’s stadium Foro Sol, supported by The National.

Last month, reports surfaced that the band may also be returning to Australia soon, after it was revealed that the Adelaide government is looking to bring The Rolling Stones to Australia for a show at the 70,000 seat Adelaide Oval. The Advertiser report also mentioned Foo Fighters.

Readers can check out the Mexico City promo below, which features each member of Foo Fighters receiving motorbike-couriered missives informing them of their upcoming Mexico show. Highlights include Dave Grohl’s rather revealing apron and Pat Smear‘s awesome lawnmowing outfit.
