Entitled Music: ALIVE AND WELL, the clip takes as its central thesis the idea that 300 years of musical progress from Bach has yielded the sonic equivalent of someone taking a shit while a bunch of geese honk around with horns taped to their beaks.
Now, it’s probably something that a lot of us can relate to. Seriously, what discerning music fan doesn’t reckon the Top 40 is stuffed with the same old steaming musical turds lazily repackaged as fresh ones year in and year out?
But the thing is, Jords controversially chooses to aim his atomic shade canon in the direction of artists like Sia and Twenty One Pilots — whose music and live performances have been widely acclaimed by their critics, fans and musical peers alike — alongside seemingly more appropriate targets like Nicki Minaj and One Direction.
Is Jordies on the money here? Or is he just courting clicks through controversy? See what you reckon below.
