The album “A Song For You” is a piece of work that represents itself as one of the latest landmarks in Benson’s storied career as a giant in jazz and contemporary music. From his time with Warner Records between 1976 and 1993, Benson had released 12 studio albums up to Breezin’. Not only was it ground-breaking for the guitarist as his first-ever pop, R&B, and jazz No.1, but Breezin’ would also bring in three of Benson’s 10 Grammy® Awards. Still one of the top-selling jazz albums ever, Breezin’ was a triple-platinum-certified recording.

Benson is an amazing artist and has achieved a lot of fame and love from his fans throughout his entire career. In 2009, the National Endowment of the Arts (NEA) named Benson a Jazz Master, the highest honor for jazz artists in the nation. A consummate performer, Benson remains a must-see live artist. He will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl on August 18.
