In an alternate universe, right now you’d be just days off getting your fix of some of the best local and international heavy acts at Good Things Festival, with organisers prepping to take the show on the road once more.
Of course, 2020 being the way it is, that’s not happening this time around – this year’s iteration of the annual festival scrapped amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The silver lining, however, is that you won’t have to wait too long for details about Good Things’ return, with dates and venues announced for the festival’s comeback in 2021.
Next year’s run will kick off Friday, 3rd December in Melbourne, heading to Sydney the next day and wrapping up in Brisbane on Sunday, 5th December. All venues from last year’s event will remain – Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, Centennial Park in Sydney, and Brisbane Showgrounds.
In a statement, organisers said they had been working on a tentative 2020 lineup for over a year, and that all previously confirmed acts have signed on to appear in 2021.
“To our Good Things family, we know you love your mosh pits sweaty, your t-shirts black and the live shows spectacular,” reads the statement.
“We know Parkway Drive delivered this in spades as our headliner last year, but just wait to see what we have in store for you next year!”
Lineup announcements and early bird pre-sales are set to be revealed in good time – head to the Good Things website to stay in the loop.
