Prepare to get Hottest-100-circa-2010 hit Jona Vark stuck in your head again, because its musical architects Gypsy & The Cat are back on the scene.
The Melbournian indie pop duo have just dropped a surprise EP entitled Hearts A Gun and to celebrate, they’ll be embarking on a trio of East Coast tour dates, marking their first live shows in over 2 years.
Following on from yesterday’s announcement that Gypsy & The Cat will be performing on the bill for Melbourne Music Week 2015’s Opening Party, the dudes have also announced plans to perform at Brisbane’s much loved Valley Fiesta later this month, before headlining their own show at Sydney’s GoodGod Smallclub in November.
The duo’s 6-track EP of summer psych-pop jams will also serve as a precursor to their forthcoming new full-length album, so don’t be surprised if they bust out some brand new material during these newly announced shows.
