UPDATE 15/07/15 1:00pm – Stereosonic has released the official lineup.
Yes, yes we know we literally JUST pulled your leg with a fake Stereosonic 2015 announcement a couple of hours ago, but we’ve just got our hands on a supposedly legit Stereosonic 2015 lineup poster and… well if it’s a fake, it’s a bloody good one.
Joining the already announced Major Lazer on the (alleged) Stereo lineup are the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Axwell & Ingrosso, Showtek, Peking Duk, DJ Snake, Duke Dumont, Martin Solvieg, Oliver Heldens, What So Not, Clean Bandit, Carmada and a shit tonne more.
Although a couple of fishy elements of the poster such as no “Tickets on sale” line, nor any media partners make us question its validity, it does LOOK mostly official.
Furthermore we’ve had a look at the majority of the supposed headliners to see if there are any schedule clashes and they all check out, with Axwell and Ingrosso’s schedule actually further cementing its possible accuracy with them playing at the conveniently adjacent Jakarta, Indonesia on December 11, the week after Stereo ends.
ALSO, Galantis, a Swedish electro duo featuring Miike Snow’s Christian Karlsson, posted a picture on Facey just now with them in front of Uluru and the hashtag #soon. And guess who features on the leaked poster? Yup…
