Listen To A New Split From Camp Cope’s Georgia Maq And Kelso

As you may already know, Camp Cope bandmates Georgia Maq and Kelly-Dawn Hellmrich (aka Kelso) each have their own (excellent) solo projects.

Kelso dropped an EP called Always a Godmother, Never a God back in October of last year, while Maq released debut studio album Pleaser in December.

Earlier this week, the pair released a digital split single, aptly entitled The Garageband Split, with each contributing a new solo track. Both songs were recorded and mixed by the respective artists on GarageBand “in the comfort of [their] own homes,” before being mastered by Ben David of The Hard Aches.

“Some days in iso you watch Disney+ and cry & other days you make music with your best friend,” wrote Kelso on Instagram in a post about the split. “everything is closed and sad and i hope this brings a tiny bit of emotional company into your isolation,” wrote Maq.

Stream both songs below, and head over here to Bandcamp to download. Camp Cope’s last album was 2018’s How to Socialise and Make Friends.
