Laneway Festival continues to reach new heights each year, and the 2017 may well be the best yet. But all is not lost if you find yourself unable to make it to one of the five festival dates. As per usual, a stack of acts from the lineup have announced sideshows so that you can wrap your ears around some outstanding acts in more intimate settings.
Among the flood of sideshows announced, you’ll find the likes of Chicago MC Mick Jenkins; Jagwar Ma, who will be returning for the first time since the release of their new album Every Now & Then; the A/V magic of Tycho; as well as Whitney and Car Seat Headrest, who are both making their Australian debuts.
Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora, British rockers Glass Animals have announced sideshows shows as well. Also, just a reminder — 2017 Laneway acts Tame Impala, Nick Murphy (FKA Chet Faker) and Floating Points won’t be announcing sideshows, as they’re both exclusive to the festival.
