In a sentence this writer truly cannot believe he is writing, everyone’s fave team player Andy King is heading to Australia to keynote BIGSOUND 2019 and suddenly everything feels right again.
In case you have forgotten or, god forbid, never heard about it at all, Andy King became famous after Netflix’s documentary FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened, about the infamous Fyre Festival. His role in the doco was pivotal and he was so dedicated to the cause that he was ready to do…anything he was instructed to.
Now, King – who is the founder of Andy King Events – has joined the already announced lineup of keynote speakers at this year’s Bigsound. These include Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino, Mojo Juju, Vivien Golden and more.
On top of that, BIGSOUND has also unveiled its full schedule of panels, workshops and presentations that’ll be taking place over the week, as well as the full music lineup where 150+ artists will be showcasing their work throughout Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.
