In Hearts Wake Share Stunning ‘Moving On’ Video, Announce Community Tree Planting Event For Tomorrow

Happy In Hearts Wake release day! Their brand new album, KALIYUGA is out today. To celebrate, the five-piece has shared a new video for ‘Moving On’ and they’ve announced a community tree planting day tomorrow.

“In 2020 everything has felt quite uncertain. So, for us, ‘Moving On’ encapsulates the light at the end of the tunnel. It dawns the release of our new record ‘Kaliyuga’ and we are thrilled to finally share it with the world!” said frontman Jake Taylor.

As well as the album and the new video, they’ve come good on their tree planting promise. The band made a pledge with the release of ‘World Suicide’ to plant one tree for every thousand views of the single’s clip.

Tomorrow Saturday, 8th August, they’re holding a community tree planting day. Teaming up with Rainforest4, Earthwalker Tribe, and Cromwell Farms, the day will see 1,000 trees be planted in two hours on a property in the Byron Bay hinterland.

In Hearts Wake’s KALIYUGA is out today and is totally carbon neutral.

The band, “measured each power socket, light bulb, pound of freight, travel and food consumed during the recording process to find the total carbon footprint came to 26.37 tonnes of CO2e.”

They then offset their carbon footprint by buying up carbon credits in Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor in Western Australia. Plus, the album was both packaged and manufactured plastic-free and was made utilising recycled materials. For the vinyl copies, they pressed these on calcium-based eco-plastic.
