Kooky New Zealand-born psych-pop musician Connan Mockasin played a show at San Fransisco venue The Chapel on Monday night, where he was joined on stage by some very special (and equally awkward) guests.
British producer James Blake was spotted on stage playing keyboards and grooving alongside Canadian singer-songwriter Mac DeMarco, who got up on on the mic with Mockasin to dabble in a little call and response.
TBH, the whole thing is pretty damn weird to watch, with DeMarco swilling beer throughout the entire set, practically singing into it at one point, and James Blake looking pretty out of place the whole time. At one point, DeMarco even hoists Mockasin up onto his shoulders, holding him high while he sings.
But hey, why not get out of your comfort zone and have an uncomfortable chuckle every once in a while?
