King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard Announce Final ‘Gizzfest’ Lineups

We’ve now come to the week’s final two Gizzfest announcements and this time it’s Brisbane and Adelaide’s turn to find out who will be joining fuzz rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard when they bring their new national festival to town.

Adelaide’s Gizzfest will feature sets from King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Dr Piffle & the Burlap Band, West Thebarton Brothel Party, Glass Skies, Bad//Dreems and various DJs who will all take to the Fowlers stage on Friday 22nd May.

Kicking it with The Lizard Wizards in Brissy will be The Murlocs, The Babe Rainbow, The Family Jordan and The Furrs. The Queensland festival will be held outdoors in the Brightside carpark on Sunday 31st May and, as an added bonus, food trucks will be on hand.

Lineups for the Sydney, Perth and Melbourne Gizzfests were revealed earlier this week.

With a super booked-out year ahead, on US and European tours as well as a bunch of festival appearances, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have dedicated a few weekends in May to tour Australia with their mates to celebrate the release of their new album Quarters, due out on Friday, 1st May.
