Kings Of Leon’s Promo Video With ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ Cast

Kings of Leon have enlisted three cast members from TV show It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia to star in a promotional video for their upcoming album Mechanical Bull, which is set to drop on the 24th September.

Danny DeVito, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton all star, playing themselves. Day sets out to direct the video himself, which ends up involving ride-on lawnmowers and a punk screaming “KINGS OF LEON” at the top of his lungs.

This is really all just the repaying of a favour, though. In 2011 three members of Kings Of Leon made cameos in a high school reunion episode of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. After the episode went to air, band member Jared Followill tweeted, “Maybe #KingsOfLeon and #SunnyFX can reunite one day. ;)”.

Kings of Leon have released two songs from Mechanical Bull, Wait For Me and Supersoaker, which you can listen to below, alongside their strange new promo video.
