Korn Link Up With Slipknot’s Corey Taylor On Crushing New Song ‘A Different World’

Korn and Corey Taylor have formed an unholy alliance, combining their powers of nu-metal for a new song on the dreadlock lords’ forthcoming 12th studio album, The Serenity Of Suffering. It’s called A Different World and it’s an absolute gut-puncher.

Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer previously teased the track, predicting that it’d become a fast fan favourite because the Slipknot frontman “really lets loose”.

“On a heaviness scale of one to 10 with 10 being the 1994 self-titled, this album is a definite nine,” he said.

And indeed, CT pivots between melodic singing and some seriously brutal screaming on the pulverising new track, which is all kinds of old school awesome.

A Different World marks our third kernel of Korn’s new LP, following the equally epic tunes Insane and Rotting In Vain.

The Serenity Of Suffering is due to drop on Friday 12th October. Meanwhile ICYMI: you can catch CT touring down under with Slipknot next-bloody-month.

In the meantime, double your dose of daily nu-metal by giving #KornyTaylor’s A Different World a crank, below.
