Laneway Festival have announced some massive official after parties for those that want to kick on after the jam-packed main event.
Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney will all get after parties, which among them feature DJ sets by Jungle (going by the name of Jung Le DJs), Violent Soho, Perfect Pussy, Mac DeMarco and more. Melbourne and Sydney will even get a live set from Future Islands, who are quickly becoming one of the most acclaimed live bands in the world.
Laneway has also announced the Milestone stage named after the iconic promoter and label of the same name. That stage will be filled by St. Vincent, Future Islands, Pond, Connan Mockasin and more. Full details are on their website.
The Laneway 2015 lineup this year pulls together some of the most exciting acts of the last few years. Flying Lotus, Caribou, FKA Twigs and plenty more are all set to make the trip down-under. With so much to catch on the day, the after parties will come as a welcome chance to see Future Islands incase you miss them at the festival.
The festival suffered a stroke of bad luck last week when Swedish songstress Lykke Li dropped out due to health reasons, but they recovered, adding Aussie young gun Tkay Maidza to the bill.
Laneway Festival 2015 is set to kick off on Saturday, 31st January in Brisbane. Tickets to the after parties go on sale Friday, 16th January at 9am.
