Well James Murphy from LCS Soundsystem reckons so, likening the track The Time (Dirty Bit) (which takes a sample from (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life) on twitter to “…worse than raping a cat. What is wrong with people? Do they hate ears?”
With LCD Soundsystem retiring from the world of music leaving the punters high and dry, we hope his twittering doesn’t. Known for his wit and sarcasm – and with Will.I.Am known for his unauthorised ripping of tracks and smapls from the likes of Deadmau5, Adam Freeland and Boys Noize – we’re wondering if LCD Soundsystem maybe next…. and can’t wait to see what James Murphy will have to say about it.
