Lil Wayne Takes Aim At Pusha T on Twitter

Lil Wayne has reignited his war of words with fellow rapper Pusha T – taking aim at the rapper via his Twitter account on Thursday morning.

Wayne tweeted: “F— pusha t and anybody that love em”.

MTV America believe that Wayne’s tweet (assuming his account wasn’t hacked) was sent in response to Pusha’s new single Exodus 23:1.

Fans have speculated on hip hop blogs, and over Twitter, that Pusha is taking aim at Lil Wayne and Drake in the track – even though he doesn’t name names.

Billboard believe Lil Wayne’s angry tweet is due to lyrics that reference his pal Drake’s recording contract with him, as well as his own contract with Cash Money and Universal Music.

“Contract all fucked / Explain up I guess that means you all fucked up / You signed to one ni**a that signed to another ni**a that’s signed to three ni**as / Now that’s bad luck”, Pusha raps in the song.

The two rappers had a war of words over several issues back in 2006, however, Pusha said in an interview with Complex magazine in 2011 that he’d moved on from the spat.

“Ever since Lil Wayne went in to jail, that whole little stint [between me and him] is really dead and over with. I don’t have any ill will towards Wayne, Cash Money or any of them”, Pusha told the mag. “There was definitely a time period when I felt a certain way [about him], but as of right now I don’t.”
