Listen Out Festival Announces 2018 Dates, Drops First Lineup Clue

UPDATE: Listen Out Festival’s 2018 Lineup Is Here

ORIGINAL STORY: Listen Out festival has announced its return for 2018, sharing a ‘save the date’ notice with punters.

The annual dance and hip hop festival is scheduled to return to Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane across two separate weekends this September, after selling out in all cities for the last two years.

While the venues in each city are yet to be announced, you can check out the individual festival dates down below.

Organisers have also dropped a sneaky lineup clue by using CamelPhat & Elderbrook’s song ‘Cola’ in their new date announcement video (below). Previous years’ teasers have featured the likes of Green Velvet and Anderson .Paak, who went on to play at Listen Out in their respective years.

Last year’s Listen Out lineup featured the likes of Mac Miller, Duke Dumont and Sydney-born producer What So Not.

Police said they were “disappointed” with the number of people found with drugs at the Melbourne leg of Listen Out 2017, while two police officers was hospitalised after allegedly being assaulted at the Sydney leg.

An 18-year-old woman was also the victim of an alleged indecent assault in Sydney, while a man was caught with Vegemite-covered drugs strapped to his penis in Melbourne.
