Listen To Eminem Wage War With Busta Rhymes On ‘Calm Down’

Eminem has shown that he still has plenty of Shady left in him on his guest verse for Busta Rymes‘ comeback single, Calm Down. On the track, Em and Busta take deft lyrical aim at everything from the Lincoln assassination (too soon, perhaps?), to annoying, know-it-all internet commenters.

Over a beat that utilises the unmistakable opening horns from the House of Pain classic Jump Around, Busta and Em go toe-to-toe on what’s been described as a “battle record,” while Busta reintroduces fans to the lightning-quick style that’s made him one of the best in the game.

“That’s the next record that’s gonna destroy the streets of New York and hip-hop,” Scoop Deville, the producer behind Calm Down, told Vlad TV. According to Scoop, Busta actually went back into the studio to re-record and elevate his own verse after hearing what Eminem sent back to him.
