Listen To Official Stream Of Eminem’s New Single ‘Berzerk’

After teasing the world with a couple of Beats-shaped morsels during yesterday’s VMAs broadcast, Eminem has at long last revealed his new single Berzerk, set to be featured on his just-announced album MMLP2, a follow-up to his gajillion-selling Marshall Mathers LP.

Berzerk was premiered on Eminem’s own Sirius/XFM radio station Shade 45, and almost instantaneously ripped and spread across the web. Now, though, the real Slim Shady has gone up on his website, sans annoying web-rip anti-pirate static, and by golly if this ain’t a fitting return.

The title of the track is fitting – Berzerk is call to go nuts and fight for your right to party. Beastie Boys samples punctuate a pounding guitar-based beat, and Em’s never-ending pop culture references are stripped back – despite a shot about Britney’s ex K-Fed in the hook – for a taught, radio-friendly reproach to those who have let standards slip while he’s been out of town.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 has an international release date of 5th November, featuring production from Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin. Listen to Berserk below.
