The MTV Movie Awards took place on Sunday, and Will Smith was honoured with the Generation award.
The award was introduced by The Lonely Island – who paid tribute to the rapper turned actor with an incredible medley of some of The Fresh Prince’s biggest hits. Andy Samber, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer, kitted up in 90’s outfits complete with one-shouldered overalls, were joined on stage by a plethora of props and talented back-up dancers flipping all around the place.
The medley included tracks Parents Don’t Understand, the theme from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Summertime, Men In Black Theme, Gettin’ Jiggy With It, and was concluded by the music/comedy trio with a Men In Black-style mind-wipe.
