UPDATE: Mac DeMarco has now announced 2018 Laneway Festival sideshows.
ORIGINAL STORY: Fresh from releasing his latest album This Old Dog, Mac DeMarco has revealed that he’s preparing to tour Australia later this year.
Speaking with triple j, DeMarco says, “We’re coming at the end of the year, your guys’ summer.
“Not sure if it’s all announced yet so I’m not sure if I’m able to say. Should be fun, something we have done before and love quite a bit.”
DeMarco has previously toured Australia with Laneway, Falls, Southbound and Meredith Festivals, so there’s also a chance he could make the trip down under for some summer festivals alongside some new headline shows.
DeMarco last toured Australia in 2016 around Southbound and Falls Festival, but is yet to announce his exact plans for his next trip down under.
He also recently said that he “doesn’t give a shit” if people torrent his new record, so get to it.
