Machine Gun Kelly And Willow Share ‘Emo Girl’ Visuals

Machine Gun Kelly‘s new album Mainstream Sellout is on its way (March 25th) and from it, he’s teased the record with a Willow Smith collab: ‘Emo Girl’.

The track itself dropped at the beginning of February: a pop punk bop that will make those who were around in the early 2010s either revel in nostalgia or realise just how much time has gone by since.

Pop punk is definitely having its revival moment now though, and it’s been fun to see a whole new gen of music fans go down the same eyeliner smudged journey many of us did.

‘Emo Girl’ is simple enough: an ode to the girls with piercings, the attitude, the irresistible personalities both MGK and Willow love to get stung by.

The music video, out now, features both musicians performing in various scenes in a museum for a class of children, on a visit led by Travis Barker (of course).

Directed by Drew Kirsch, you can check it out below.

‘Emo Girl’ is the first single release for Machine Gun Kelly this year, no doubt more is to come from the Travis Barker-produced album in the next few weeks.
