New dance festival Embrace has announced the line-up for its inaugural event on the East Perth Foreshore next February. The festival – described as “a wonderland of house, drum n bass, techno and dance” – will be headlined by English DJ Macky Gee, who was last in Australia in April as part of the Touch Bass festival.
Joining Gee on the line-up for the inaugural Embrace festival will be fellow UK acts Ruth Royall, Kimmic and Sub Zero. The full Embrace lineup can be found below.

Dance festivals in Australia have made a considerable comeback in 2023. Along with the aforementioned Touch Bass, this year’s Listen Out lineup featured acts like Skrillex and Four Tet, both of whom also took part in Astral People’s Summer Dance series.
Summer Dance will return next month to Sydney’s Liberty Hall Courts, with a headlining back-to-back set from DJs Eris Drew and Octo Octa. Dreamstate is heading to Sydney and Melbourne this weekend, with the likes of Lily Palmer and Above & Beyond on the lineup.
