Major Leagues Announce 2014 Headlining Tour

Brisbane indie rock sweethearts Major Leagues are set to have one hell of a 2014, with the quartet today dropping tour dates in support of their massive debut EP Weird Season next February, their very first Australian headlining tour.

Major Leagues have been blowing up not only at home but overseas, with their debut EP Weird Season drawing praise from major international tastemakers and placing the band third on triple j‘s list of Most Played Unearthed Artists.

Having spent most of the past 12 months on the road supporting acts like Beach Fossils and Wild Nothing, the Endless Drain hitmakers are now doing it headline styles, playing favourites alongside some brand new tracks for your listening pleasure.

The Weird Season tour kicks off in Wollongong on Thursday, 6th February before making its way around the eastern states. All shows will be opened by Wagga Wagga-via-Fitzroy outfit The Ocean Party, making this string of gigs an essential part of your summer live music plan.

UPDATE 17/01/14: The band have JUST added WA dates to the run oh headlining shows, which will be supported by Gunns.
