Matt Corby Goes Big With ‘Resolution’ Australian Tour, October 2013

Matt Corby has announced a massive list of Australian shows for 2013 on his Resolution tour, which will see the young crooner tackle some of the biggest stages our country has to offer. Kicking off in October, the Resolution tour will see Corby kick off in Wollongong and wrap things up in Fremantle, hitting up everywhere in between.

Corby has already hit the highways of Australia this year but the Resolution tour is a totally different animal. Corby will be hitting up his biggest venues yet and has included his first-ever headlining performances for Tassie and Canberra in the mix. Fan expectation for new material is at an all-time high, with Corby will be hitting the studio prior to put the final touches on his debut full-length.

Those who have been paying attention will know that the tour has been named after the latest single and EP released from Corby Resolution. The track made some serious waves when it was released back in May. Speaking to triple j recently, Corby explained the back story behind the track:

“I got a little paranoid and I didn’t really leave the house for a couple of days. I couldn’t understand why I was so afraid of the world at this time so I wrote ‘Resolution’. It’s an ode to humanity and the way I want to be with other people and spread some love in an un-cheesy way.”
