It’s a good day to be Matt Corby, as today marks the announcement that his record label Rainbow Valley Records has signed a partnership with Warner Music Australia.
Rainbow Valley Records is a joint venture with Corby and his collaborator Alex Henriksson, and you’ll recognise it shares a name with Corby’s latest album, Rainbow Valley.
“I’m pumped to step into a different role in the industry,” Corby said of the new venture.
“To assist new and established artists from the perspective on of an artist. I’ve learned a lot over the last decade and am looking forward to bringing my knowledge and experience to the table for this new company.
“I’m excited to share the music we have already been a part of and will continue to foster with a diverse crew of people, hopefully, for years to come.”
In a press statement, the label says it plans to represent a slew of different artists across various genres throughout the coming years.
