Mayhem Announce 2018 Australian Tour

Bar the door to your local church, because Norwegian black metal legends Mayhem are coming to lay waste to Australia in the New Year.

The demonic fivesome will be summoning satan at venues across the nation in January 2018, kicking off in Perth before hitting Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Hobart for the annual MONA FOMA festival.

They’re touring what is arguably one of the most important albums in black metal history, 1994’s DE MYSTERIIS DOM SATHANAS, which was forged during the band’s darkest time following the the suicide of vocalist ‘Dead’ and the murder of guitarist ‘Euronymous’.

With the rep of being one of the most controversial live acts to ever disgrace this planet, Mayhem are promising to create “THE most incredible black metal tour this barren wasteland has ever seen”.
