Meet Australia’s New Regional Music Festival, Way Out West Fest

A stack of fantastic Aussie musicians are set to head to Western Queensland for the first-ever Way Out West Fest in April next year.

The festival celebrates the re-opening of Winton’s famous Waltzing Matilda Centre in Winton, which was destroyed by fire in 2015, with the gathering set to be the biggest inland music and culture festival ever held in Queensland.

Leading the musical lineup is indigenous singer Jessica Mauboy and Aussie rock royalty The Living End.

They’ll be joined by US imports Kip Moore and Lee Brice, as well as home grown talent in the form of John Williamson, Sheppard, Busby Marou, Russell Morris and more.

Way Out West Fest isn’t just about the music though, with a country race meeting, live entertainment across various venues around town, markets, food and more on show across the weekend.

Camping and other packages are available, so check out the full lineup and ticketing details below.
