Megan Thee Stallion will make her feature film debut in the upcoming musical comedy, F*cking Identical Twins.
Larry Charles is directing the film, which is based on a story by comedians Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp. Charles directed Borat, Bruno and more than a dozen episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm; he also wrote several Seinfeld episodes.
Megan will star alongside screen veteran Nathan Lane, known for his appearances in The Birdcage, Mouse Hunt and The Producers. The cast of F*cking Identical Twins also includes Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live) and Megan Mullally (Will & Grace).
According to The Hollywood Reporter, F*cking Identical Twins is based on Jackson and Sharp’s two-person stage show of the same name from 2014. Featuring original songs by Jackson, Sharp and Karl Saint Lucy, F*cking Identical Twins is pitched as a “subversive” spin on the 1998 film The Parent Trap starring Lindsay Lohan and Dennis Quaid.
Megan posted about the project on Instagram, writing “HOTTIES THIS IS OUR FIRST MOVIEEEE/ MUSICAL! WITH SOME MOVIE LEGENDS Im so excited i feel so blessed i feel anxious lol i feel a bunch of shit. I really have been quietly putting in this work and i just cant wait for the hotties to see everything.”
