Iconic Melbourne bar Cherry Bar is calling for people to come forward with any information about a mirror gifted to them by Foo Fighters‘ Dave Grohl that was stolen .
The venue owner James Young took to Facebook to reveal that the mirror was stolen from the bar on Friday night, sharing footage of the alleged thieves.
Foo Fighters gifted them them the mirror when they toured here earlier this year. The bar also became a pop-up Foos bar for a number of nights during their tour.
The bar doesn’t want to involve the police and they’ve given the thieves until 3am Monday morning to return the mirror.
If not they say, “we’ll go to the Vic Police and your Bank, who have your full contact details, given we already have your credit card particulars (cos we have CCTV footage of one of you buying a round of 4 pints on your credit card. Bahahahahaha.)”
They added that the “Foo Fighters ‘family'” have been in contact and offered to replace the mirror, “but we really want our original one back please!”
As of this morning the mirror hasn’t been returned and time is ticking.
