During their performance of ‘Only The Strong’, Garrett and company stopped the show to call out the unruly concert-goers.
“He’s going out. Come out,” Garrett said, according to The Music.
“The idea is that everybody should be able to enjoy themselves down the front here, men and women, young and old and if you can’t deliver it, you’re coming out.
“The show will not start until he comes out, so you make up your own mind, brother.”
In the video below, Garrett can be seen bringing the ultimate dad vibes by telling the audience to “gently” help the two men to the front of the crowd so that they could be escorted by security.
“Gently everybody, help them over gently please. Come on, crowd safety, be brave,” he says.
“Don’t hurt him when he comes over please… do it gently… and his mate.
“Might have had a bit too much to drink, I don’t know,” he adds, before the band jump back into ‘Only The Strong’.

In a statement to Music Feeds, Midnight Oil say:
“Throughout their career Midnight Oil has shown zero tolerance for any individual behaviour that spoils the experience for other people in the crowd. This wasn’t the first time Peter Garrett evicted someone for acting like an idiot and it probably won’t be the last.
“All the words from Article 1 of the UN Declaration Of Human Rights are featured above the stage at all outdoor stages on the band’s The Great Circle Tour. They are apt under these circumstances.
“Article 1. ‘All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.’”
Midnight Oil are currently touring Australia on their ‘The Great Circle’ World Tour.

Midnight Oil were great tonight. Best part was when Peter Garrett went into Dad mode and got a “bearded man” thrown out of the mosh pit. 😂
