More Acts Join The Southbound 2016 Lineup

Even more acts have joined the lineup for Western Australia’s Southbound festival, with two local acts joining the likes of Bloc Party, Foals, Disclosure, Courtney Barnett and more at the 2016 New Year’s event.

Fremantle indie pop outfit San Cisco have found themselves a place on the lineup, and will no doubt be touting tune from their second LP Gracetown which was unveiled in March this year.

Also joining the fray will be Perth’s Ta-ku, the talented multi-tasker also having a new tunes to spruik from this year’s Songs To Make Up To EP which proceeded, naturally, his 2013 release Songs To Break Up To.

Organisers have also promised two up and coming local acts will be added to the lineup shortly as part of the locally-focussed Stagebound. Stay tuned for more details.

The now three-day WA festival, which runs from January 8th-10th at Busselton’s Sir Steward Bovell Park, kicks off with the opening party Friday Night Fever, headlined by Art Vs Science, which is this year packing the fancy dress theme of “Disco Inferno”.

UPDATE 29/09/15: The Wombats have now joined the Southbound 2016 lineup.
