…while others, including singer-songwriter Moses Sumney, made a point of Onfroy’s violent and controversial past with their own controversial tweets:

Others acknowledged Onfroy’s failings, but honoured the rapper’s impact on the hip hop community and called for anyone praising his death to reconsider what they are doing.
For the record, I was never in support of his ways, especially his domestic abuse which I found to be horrific. But I will never demonize an individual without criticizing the society and/or circumstance in which they were raised. Especially someone under 21.
